All of our first years are guaranteed a room in college-managed accommodation. So, you can relax in the knowledge that you will have a room of your own. All our accommodation in 2023-24 will be at either the main Riverside site (catered) or Ernest Place (self catered).

Hild Bede college staff allocate rooms throughout September so that all rooms are allocated by the time you arrive as Freshers. Our rooms are a combination of standard, catered rooms with shared bathrooms on our Riverside site, or flats with a shared kitchen at Ernest Place. We also have some studios at this location and all rooms here are en-suite and self-catered.

As a student living in college-managed accommodation have full access to all College facilities - common rooms and the bar etc. We aim to offer the experience of living together and students tend to form close knit communities in buildings, blocks and corridors.
