We’ve got exciting things planned for the future of St Hild and St Bede, with the redevelopment and refurbishment of the College’s historic home planned for the academic year 2024/25.

We’re really pleased to say that while this work takes place, members of our Hild Bede student community will be offered accommodation at Rushford Court. This purpose-built student accommodation, within walking distance of the city centre, provides students with en-suite rooms on a self catered basis. A range of college facilities are currently under development on site to deliver a brand new cafe-bar, common room, gym, music room and study spaces.

Hild Bede college staff allocate rooms throughout September so that all rooms are allocated by the time you arrive as Freshers. 

All of our first years are guaranteed a room in college-managed accommodation. So, you can relax in the knowledge that you will have a room of your own.

Rooms at all en-suite. Most are configured around shared kitchens as small flats. We will have a limited number of studios available. 

As a student living in college you will have full access to all College facilities - common rooms and the bar etc. We aim to offer the experience of living together and students tend to form close knit communities in flats, buildings, blocks and corridors.
