Orienteering

Club Captain: Thomas Aspin

Orienteering is a challenging sport that exercises both the body and the mind. It involves navigating your way through diverse and unfamiliar terrain, from bustling city streets to dense woodland. If you enjoy exploring new places and getting off the beaten track, orienteering may be the sport for you.

Here at DUOC, we’re a friendly club with a wide mix of abilities, so if you’ve never orienteered before or you’ve been orienteering since you were 3 there’s a place for you.

Additional Information

The club holds training sessions every Wednesday 14:30-16:30 - the specific details such as the exact time and location will be posted in our Facebook group and on our website. Alongside training sessions, we attend a number of competitions throughout the year and these are a great way to see new parts of the country as well as orienteer in some interesting areas. We also engage in ad hoc running sessions such as hill reps and club runs.
