Table Tennis

Presidents: Ben Palmer-Jones and Abhishek Bathula
Coach: Jonny Higgins

Durham University Table Tennis Club is the place to be for aspiring athletes. As a club, the team strive to create an environment where all are welcome and encouraged to do their best. Durham's squad members come from a variety of different backgrounds, and are all respectful, committed, and driven individuals. Last season, Durham performed at a very high level across the board. The Men's 1st team won the Northern Tier 1 Division without dropping a single match. The Men's 2s won the Northern Conference Cup final, managing to fend off the Men's 3s, who were the gallant runner's up.
This season, the club aspires to build on their legacy of success; with 5 men's teams and 3 women's teams, the squad will be the largest cohort that Durham has seen. As well as an overhaul of equipment, the club receives coaching from a high calibre team.
