Are you interested in pursuing further research after your degree? On Wednesday afternoon 12th November Durham Chemistry department are holding an open day, showcasing research opportunities. Why not join us for the afternoon to:

  • explore options for postgraduate research projects at Durham.
  • learn what postgraduate research degrees (PhD, MRes) are, whether they might be for you and how to apply.
  • network with potential supervisors. You can also preview the range of research on offer via our staff profiles
  • enjoy some drinks and snacks!

The following activities will be on offer throughout the afternoon in the Chemistry department:

Chat to supervisors to find out about their research and ideas for upcoming research projects

Current PhD students available to chat to informally about the PhD experience.
