Research and Impact

Our strategy is to encourage world-leading research, discovery and innovation through the generation of fundamental knowledge in a sustainable research-led environment.

Research in the Chemistry Department is centred on challenges that are truly global with the potential to generate significant economic and social impact. To support these research challenges researchers with common interests and complementary skills are clustered together in 6 Research Groupings.
