Researchers active in the field of Heating and Cooling Decarbonisation are invited to attend a 5 day Summer School exploring the latest research and research gaps in the transition to netzero heating and cooling. Please apply with contact details and biography information by Monday 15th July 2024.

Network+ Heating & Cooling " Cool Summer School"

The Cool Summer School will feature presentations from leading researchers, knowledge exchange with colleagues, visits to regional exemplar projects, discussions on networking and career development and a chance to bid for funding for research ideas.

Spaces are limited for this school, and applications are especially welcomed from Early Career Researchers and/or those included within minority groups. A travel bursary is available for the School, however attendees will be required to pay for accommodation at Hatfield College at a cost of £52.50pppn.

C-DICE have offered to cover the costs of accommodation for 5 places, so do please get your application in as soon as possible to secure this support.

NETWORK H+C SUMMER SCHOOL 12-16th August

Palace Green Rooms, Durham University

Aim: To provide opportunity for Early Career Researchers to network, discuss, listen, explore and expand and share knowledge in the field of Decarbonisation of Heating and Cooling

Who?: Open to Early Career Researchers (and anyone else) involved in research around Heating and Cooling Decarbonisation. Numbers limited to 40

Who pays?: Network will cover the cost of venue and catering. College accommodation costs will be paid by the attendee £52.50ppn – Bed and Breakfast.

DAY 1 – 12th August, commence at midday with welcome lunch

DAY 2 – 13th August, Site visits, career development, proposal writing

DAY 3 -14th August, project problem setting

DAY 4 -15th August, practical problems and discussion

DAY 5 -16th August, finish at midday with awards for best project ideas.
