A group of first year Durham University Engineering undergraduates has won the IMechE Regional Design Challenge Final 2022 after a tough competition in Durham. Emeritus Professor Tony Unsworth receives Honorary Doctor of Engineering at Teesside University on 28 April 2022 for his extensive and excellent research portfolio in biomedical engineering and tribology, exploring the functioning of natural and artificial joints, as well as the design of new generations of joints.
