She is the author of numerous publications, including two books on medieval English and Scots literature: Anglicising Romance: Tail-Rhyme and Genre in Medieval English Literature (D. S. Brewer, 2008) and The Scots and Medieval Arthurian Legend (Boydell and Brewer, 2005). She has a third on the way: An Introduction to Medieval Scots Literature: Origins to 1513.
