Speaker Tomos Evans
Join our next online research seminar.
In this talk, Dr Evans will discuss ongoing editorial work on the new, third edition of the Milton volume in the Longman Annotated English Poets series. Together with Dr John Hale (Otago University), Dr Evans is editing Milton’s Latin and Greek poems. The talk will explore the ambitions and aims of the editors in creating a volume which is both erudite and accessible, and shares some major, critical revisions (concerning issues such as dating) on some poems.
Associate Fellow at the Warburg Institute
