Enterprise Seminar

The enterprise seminar is designed to give you some experience of entrepreneurial thinking and the opportunity to gain soft skills that are useful outside the lab. These may include networking, thinking outside the box, and recognising and seizing opportunities. Many successful entrepreneurs demonstrate these skills, but they’re important in other walks of life from scientific research to non-commercial ventures.

This seminar is not lab-based and concludes with the presentation of a Business Proposition in teams.

Current students can find more information [on Learn Ultra].

In this session you will:

  • Have gained an understanding of what it envolves to set up a business
  • Have approached a problem from different angles to effectively solve it
