This academic year, we would like to discuss the Anthropocene in its different possible conceptualizations. This term we'll be meeting on October 28 and December 2, from 2 to 3pm on Zoom. In our first meeting, we're going to read Jason Moore's 'Introduction' to his volume Anthropocene or Capitalocene? (Oakland: PM Press, 2016, pp. 1–11), and Eileen Crit's 'On the Poverty of Our Nomenclature', within the same book (pp. 14–33).
We plan to read a few chapters of this volume throughout the year. Please do get in touch in case you need a digital copy of the relevant chapters.
New members are always welcome, including researchers from other institutions.
