Global Policy: Next Generation

The creation of Global Policy: Next Generation was one of the first initiatives of Global Policy North Network.

This is a fifth annual edition of Global Policy Journal. Edited by postgraduate students based in the Global Policy North collaborating universities and beyond, the issue is held to the same rigorous academic standards as the regular Journal. The aim is to seek out the next generation of ground-breaking research in global policymaking from early career researchers.

As well as producing the fifth issue of the Journal and promoting this through various social media channels, Global Policy: Next Generation has a dedicated section on the Global Policy website which features interviews with early career researchers, focusing on their work in a ‘scholar spotlight’ section.  Book reviews and blogs also feature as well as regular podcasts – all aimed to showcase the work of new scholars at the cutting edge of the field.
