Co-creating research with local communities and institutions in Chile

[04/25] Dr Rebekah Harries (IHRR PDRA) and Dr Alejandra Seray (Universidad de O’Higgins) led engagement activities with local communities along the Rio Teno to co-create future research.

Through a series of round table discussions, a community-guided field excursion and the creation of a short documentary, Dr Harries and Dr Seray worked with Rio Teno communities, local authorities and government institutions in Chile to identify and design key research questions for reducing disaster risk in mountain settings.
