We are thrilled that the Centre has been awarded funding for an Institute of Advanced Studies (IAS) ‘development project’ to run in Michaelmas Term of 2022.

This project will allow us to run three interactive and interdisciplinary events with members from across the institution who are interested in, and actively involved with, research associated with neurodiversity, especially autism. At a minimum this will involve colleagues from Psychology, Education, Sport Science, Sociology, Modern Languages and we hope to expand even further to be all-inclusive in our breadth of disciplines within the University. The aim of the events is to build our interdisciplinary capacity for research within the field of neurodiversity at Durham and highlight key areas of thematic priority for collaborative endeavours. We look forward to this new project running in Michaelmas 2022 and are grateful for the support of the IAS.
