Participatory researchers often find that the epistemology of our research can create challenges when trying to navigate spaces within more traditional research systems.  When parties (for instance funding bodies or ethics committees) have different expectations of what trustworthy research will look like it is important for participatory researchers to be able to articulate what makes this type of research trustworthy – what makes it a vital element for understanding social issues and creating change.  This meeting will offer us spaces to consider this issue to help us articulate the quality of our work.

Venue: Rm 407, top floor The Calman Learning Centre - Durham University DH1 3LE.

NB This is an ‘in person’ meeting only - there will be no recording or Zoom/Teams link.
