Gather round and join us (online) this Halloween for stories exploring some of the 'haunted' locations of our city of Durham and the Northeast region - if you dare!

As the days draw in and autumnal festivals are upon us, please join us online for three short talks on buildings and places of Durham and the Northeast that have an impact on human emotions and imagination, and have inspired stories and lore.

CVAC Community Conversations

The Durham University Centre for Visual Arts and Culture (CVAC) Community Conversations series began in 2020, with informal online presentations by members of the North East’s community, on ‘Meaningful Monuments’.

As a continuation and expansion of this series, the Community Conversations will encompass the built and visual environment more broadly.
