In between the start and end, is where the gold-dust of the GOLD Programme happens (Growing Opportunities for Learning in Durham), with bursaries for CPD established for those working in community, voluntary and public sectors and addressing inequalities in County Durham.
What did it take:
- Partnership of Durham University with three organisations: CUBEL Culture and Education Liaison; Jiangsu Education Service for International Exchange (JESIE); County Durham Care Partnership.
- 40 students: 29 health students from China; 11 CPD students from County Durham.
- 17+ Durham University staff from three Faculties and RIS.
- Lots of problem solving, great learning and experiences!
