Our digital marketing services are designed to support your recruitment efforts. Explore the full range of what we offer to employers to attract top talent from Durham University

  • The Portable Plasma Screens move around campus to capture student attention and engagement with career events, activities and opportunities. Display your advertising in image or video format, or book exclusive use of the screen to display as much content as you like! Prices from £70 +VAT. 
  • The Online Marketing Package promotes your organisation, opportunities, and events across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and the Durham Careers Portal. Starting from £175 +VAT, discover the benefits and book your package today. 
  • Email Advertising sends information about your vacancies and events directly to the inboxes of all Durham students, or to those from your target faculties, by advertising in our weekly Vacancies Bulletin or Events Bulletin. Prices from £100 +VAT.

The Portable Plasma Screens move around campus to capture student attention and engagement with career events, activities and opportunities. Display your advertising in image or video format, or book exclusive use of the screen to display as much content as you like! Prices from £70 +VAT.  

Imagine your message grabbing the attention of potential candidates at key locations and events. Whether it is an impactful image or a dynamic video, the portable plasma screen provides an engaging canvas. Plus, with exclusive reservation, your content takes centre stage.

To get started, please complete the booking form below and send over your images or videos to careers.events@durham.ac.uk in the following dimensions: 1080px width x 1920px height. The preferred file types are AVI for videos, and PNG or JPG for images.

Costs

Exclusive use of Digital Boards:

  • Up to 5 items (image or up to 30sec video clip)
  • £70+VAT per day
  • £300+VAT per week (exc. Weekends)

Non-exclusive use of Digital Boards:

  • 1 item (image or up to 30sec video clip)
  • £175+VAT per week (Mon-Fri)

Our marketing package is a great way to raise the profile of your organisation and/or event and help you to recruit the best talent.

The marketing package consists of:

  • An advert at the top of the events/opportunities page on the Careers Portal, where students search for events or vacancies, displayed for one week with dimensions of 1070px width x 339px height
  • One social media post on Facebook
  • One social media post on Instagram

The cost of this package is £175 plus VAT and availability is limited to one package each week.

Social media advert

Our faculty-focused Events & Vacancies Bulletins are emailed to all current students each Tuesday and Thursday respectively during term time, featuring information about careers events taking place the following week, and graduate and work experience opportunities of interest to Durham students. Vacancy Bulletins are also sent during vacation periods. Bulletins contain links to our Events Calendar and Vacancies Portal where students can book events or apply directly for vacancies.

Featured Employer Advert

Targeted events and vacancies emails are sent to our four faculties: Sciences, Business School, Social Sciences, and Arts & Humanities. You can choose to target one or multiple faculties with your featured advert.

There will be one Featured Employer Advert per Bulletin; your advert will appear first in the email and your organisation's logo will feature prominently. There is a 75 word limit for the event or vacancy description.

The charge for a Featured Employer Advert are as follows. All prices are exclusive of VAT.

Standard Employer Advert

There is no limit on the number of Standard Employer Adverts per Bulletin; each Standard Employer Advert will have an individual heading including your organisation's name and logo, with a 40 word limit to the event or vacancy description. Standard employer adverts will be placed in all relevant faculty-focused bulletins.

The charge for a Standard Employer Advert is £100 plus VAT.
