Arrival dates and Welcome Service 2024

If you book this service, you will be greeted at the Newcastle Airport by our Welcome Team who will guide you towards your onward travel to Durham. Once in Durham there will be transport on to your accommodation in college or the private sector.

New International Students - Meet and Greet Service 2024.

New international students who arrive at Newcastle Airport on the dates below can book our Meet and Greet Service:

20 Week Pre-sessional Students :  20th April 2024

10 Week Pre-sessional Students:  6th July 2024

6 Week Pre-sessional Students: 3rd August 2024

This webpage will be updated with a booking form for the Meet and Greet service, and further information for September arrivals for 2024 as soon as the information is available. Please contact the meet and greet team for further information at international.meetandgreet@durham.ac.uk)

*Please note:

  • Upon successful completion of the form, your place for the meet and greet service will be reserved. No further confirmation email will be sent out. 
  • If you are arriving before 9am or after 10pm on the scheduled dates, please inform the meet and greet team at  international.meetandgreet@durham.ac.uk, arrangements will be made accordingly.
  • In order to help with sorting of  the luggage at the airport, it is advised to advised to bring no more than two suitcases and your hand luggage. please tie a yellow ribbon on to the handle of your suitcase so that it can be easily identified as belonging to a Durham University student.
