The University is working very actively with other universities and Universities UK to urge the UK Government to establish safe pathways for individuals holding offers to study at UK universities to leave Gaza and pursue their studies in this country.
We are in frequent contact with our scholarship offer holders in Gaza. In addition, we are working very closely with the Durham Palestine Educational Trust (DPET), which provides scholarships to Palestinian students, and others to support these individuals and prepare for their hoped-for arrival in Durham.
