Pre-Sessional College Accommodation Offer 2024
When you take up University managed accommodation, you will be required to sign the Licence Agreement accommodation offer, which is legally binding. This confirms that you will live in the residence for the full academic session and adhere to all terms and conditions outlined within the Pre-Sessional Licence to Occupy University Accommodation.
Residence Fees: College accommodation charges for the pre-sessional programmes can be found here. The Particulars of Offer that you will receive from Josephine Butler College as part of your Licence Agreement sets out the fees payable. Please note that insurance for your personal possessions is not included in the Residence Charge.
Accepting the Licence Agreement: If you wish to secure college accommodation for the pre-sessional programme you must pay for the accommodation in full, and by the deadline date that will be provided within the accommodation offer. Details of how to pay the accommodation charges will also be provided within the accommodation offer. If you have not paid in full, staff will not be able to issue your room key, so you must make sure that you have paid before you arrive in Durham. If you experience any difficulties with payment then please contact the Finance team directly at credit.control@durham.ac.uk
It is extremely important that before making the full payment for college accommodation you read the terms of the Licence Agreement carefully to ensure that it contains everything you want and nothing you are not prepared to agree to.
