Durham prides itself on research-led teaching. At this event, we want to seed the ideas of research right away with our new freshers. Prof. Andy Beeby will speak on the application of molecular spectroscopy to the history of medieval manuscripts, and Prof. Tammi Walker will tell us about her research in psychology, which runs alongside her role as Principal of Cuth's. Cuth's undergraduates and SCR members are welcome to attend in person, or to tune in on Zoom. No booking is required.
We will be running this event in a hybrid format, using our new "owl" technology to host remote participants too. Please bear with us as we gain experience with the new format. If you wish to attend virtually please email Mark Miller: cuthberts.scr-president@durham.ac.uk for the link.
