Alumni and Friends

The fabric of St John's College is not merely created by current students and staff but all who have ever passed through its doors and all that ever will.

We are here to ensure that we maintain meaningful relationships between our alumni and friends and the College for past, present and future generations.

Once A Johnian, Always A Johnian

Your connection with St John's College lasts long past graduation and you are always welcome here. The alumni team at St John's can help with queries about getting in touch with old friends, listing new opportunities to get involved, providing information on events (including reunions), providing a careers network, helping you to support the College and assisting in many different ways - even with your purchase of College merchandise!

Giving back

Generations of Johnians have contributed to sustaining the College through their enthusiasm and through giving of time, expertise and money.  The support and donations we receive from alumni are crucial to us. Without donations, large and small, we would not be able to realise transformational projects such as the new Learning Resource Centre (LRC: 4 Years On).

Make a donation to St John's.

Get in touch

We love to stay in touch with alumni and hear how you're doing! Why not share your news with fellow Johnians? Whether it be the announcement of a marriage or birth, or information about a book you've published - or something else entirely - we can share your news with the whole college community in the College Record, which is sent out to all alumni every autumn.

Contact our alumni team at johns.alumni@durham.ac.uk - we would love to hear from you!
