LIDA - Learning Inclusion in a Digital Age. Belonging and Finding a Voice in a Changing Europe, was an Erasmus+ programme with partners from Italy, Norway, England, and Portugal. The project aimed to strengthen inclusive learning and active citizenship across European national borders. Closely aligned with the 4th Global Report on Adult Learning and Education: Leave no one behind: Participation, Equity and Inclusion (UNESCO 2019) and framed by Sustainable Development Goals SDG 4 on inclusive learning, SDG 3 on well-being and SDG 11 on sustainable cities and communities, LIDA encompasses gender equity and learning equity for vulnerable adult minorities of different socioeconomic, religious and cultural backgrounds, including migrants, refugees, people with disabilities and people at risk of poverty as well as the professionals who work with them. LIDA has targeted distant, online and blended modes of delivery in its workshops , talks and other forms of education and training and, in particular, digital storytelling was used to empower and build or deepen a sense of belonging.
