Dr Beth Barnes is on the Top 50 Women in Engineering 2023 list

The Women's Engineering Society (WES) organises International Women in Engineering Day (Inwed). It has marked the 10th anniversary of the day of celebrating female engineers by revealing that 11 civil engineers have made the 2023 Top 50 Women in Engineering (WE50) list.

The WE50 started in 2016 to showcase the diversity of women engineers. Each year WES chooses a different theme for the awards. For this year the theme is safety and security.
