Commonwealth Scholarship Commission
            Offers funding for students from Commonwealth countries
          
        Foreign Fulbright Program
            Offers funding for foreign students to study in the USA
          
        Gerda Henkel PhD Scholarships
            Offers funding for students studying historical topics in English or German
          
        Korea Foundation
            Offers funding for students studying Korean history
          
        Daiwa Scholarships in Japanese Studies
            This scholarship is to support Japanese Studies, which can be in either the UK or Japan
          
        Sasakawa Japanese Studies Postgraduate Studentship Programme
            This programme funds up to 30 postgraduate studentships each year, to support the development of Japanese Studies in the UK
          
        Japan Foundation
            Offers the opportunity to do research in Japan
          
        Japanese Government (MEXT) Postgraduate Scholarships
            This scholarship is offered to UK graduates, to enable further study in Japan
          
        Huntington Library Fellowships
            Offers both short-term and long-term fellowship opportunities
          
        Folger Shakespeare Library Fellowships
            This programme is offering non-residential research fellowships
          
        Lewis Walpole Library, Yale
            Offers fellowships and grants to support study of eighteenth-century materials
          
        Economic History Society
            The Economic History Society supports PhD students with bursaries and prizes
          
        Narottam Sekhsarai Scholarship
