Durham Law Professor’s written evidence published by House of Lords’ Justice and Home Affairs Committee
16 April 2024
The House of Lords’ Justice and Home Affairs Committee is conducting an inquiry into electronic border management systems.
Durham’s Professor Thom Brooks has submitted written evidence published by the Committee into how these systems operate and advises on next steps the Committee should take examining them in its inquiry. Previously, Professor Brooks advised on the use of paper landing cards and has appeared before this Committee in 2022 recommending that it conducts an inquiry into the use of the Life in the UK test, which the Committee accepted and conducted later that year.
