Celebrate the arrival of the year of the tiger with a range of events taking place at Durham Town Hall and venues across Durham city on Saturday 5 February, 10:30am – 4.00pm.

Lunar New Year 2022 - the year of the tiger

Our students will be offering a Chinese language taster session in Clayport Library (drop in any time between 11.00am and 2.30pm) and a taster Chinese word session in the Burlison Gallery (Durham Town Hall) from 12.00pm – 1.30pm.

The packed schedule also includes Chinese calligraphy, storytelling, lion dancing, craft stalls for children as well as music and dance performances.
