  • Core skills: engage + use Pain / Self Care models and tools
  • Valued ways to guide exploration and awareness of self-care options
  • Role of patient complete decision aid tools to improve focus on patient priorities
  • Use of Live Well with Pain Health Check tool: what, why and how and its role in triage
  • Focus on addressing medicines safety and using decision aids
  • Focus on shift of conversation on ways to use self-care skills and local support options
  • Key practical tips and question time, opportunity to practice skills

Who is workshop for? Prescribing clinicians, pharmacists, general practitioners or anyone involved in reviewing pain relieving medicines for chronic pain
