Charities Careers Week

Charity & Third Sector Careers Week welcomes organisations offering insights or opportunities to gain work experience or graduate jobs working in the third sector.

Adopting a hybrid approach, Charity & Third Sector Careers Week will include a mix of in-person and virtual events. It is an excellent way to raise your organisation's profile on campus, promote your work experience and graduate opportunities, and connect with high-calibre students looking for employment and work experience in sustainability.

Charities and Third Sector Targeted Careers Week

Our Charities and Third Sector Careers Week will take place week commencing 27th February 2023, where we will host a number of in-person & virtual recruitment events. This is a great opportunity to meet and network with high calibre students looking for a career in the third sector.  

Please see below a summary of events taking place during our Charities & Third Sector Careers Week. We are now open for bookings for all events, so if you would like to get involved please complete the relevant booking form on the right-hand side of this page.

  • Presentations
    • What: These are 45 minute presentations to students about your organisation, your industry, and what opportunities you have available. This could be an in-person or virtual event.
    • When: 12pm or 1pm, Monday - Friday.
  • CV Clinic Skills Session
    • What: Provide students with support and advice on how to write a sector-specific CV during a series of one-to-one sessions. This could be an in-person or virtual event.
    • When: Available in the morning (9am - 12pm) or afternoon (1 - 5pm), Monday - Friday.
  • Mock Interview Skills Session
    • What: Help prepare students for the interview process by giving them a chance to practice during a series of one-to-one sessions. This could be an in-person or virtual event.
    • When: Available in the morning (9am - 12pm) or afternoon (1 - 5pm), Monday - Friday.
  • Promotional Events
    • What: Promotional pop-up events on campus, either in our outdoor Library Square* or one of our indoor café spaces.
    • When: Slots available throughout the week for half or full-day events.
