Accept your offer

If you have not done so yet, now is the perfect time to accept your offer. It can be seen in full on your UCAS Hub. It's important that you check this as you'll need to understand any conditions that form part of your offer. If we need you to send us information you should note the deadline given.

Your  UCAS Hub will be updated for each course you've applied for. If you have any questions about your offer, please Ask Us.

Accepted your offer? It’s now time to submit all documents and view our college application process

Our Applicant Portal is designed to help you to manage different stages of your application, such as uploading documents or completing other actions related to your application.

In the applicant portal you will be able to:

  • Upload documents relevant to your application.
  • Submit subject choices (combined honours and modern languages applicants only).
  • Rank your college preferences.
  • Complete your Final Acceptance once your application is "unconditional firm" with us.
  • Other forms may be listed for you to complete; these are often course specific.

Postgraduate

Accept your offer

Our useful Postgraduate Offer Guide pages provide more information on your next steps.

If you have received a conditional offer letter, you will need to provide evidence of meeting these conditions before you can move on to the next stage of your Durham journey and allow us to secure a place for you. Should you achieve these conditions, you can let us know by uploading the relevant documents to your Applicant Portal.

Pay your deposit

Depending on your fee status and the course you have applied for, you may need to pay a tuition fee deposit. You can pay your deposit via Student Advanced Payments.

If you are required to pay a tuition fee deposit, the amount will be clearly stated on your offer letter, with a deadline also included. This is usually within six weeks of when your offer letter was first sent and could be earlier if you have received your offer closer to the start of your course.

Accepted your offer? It’s now time to submit all documents

Please visit your Postgraduate Applicant Portal to submit any outstanding documents we may need. If you require a CAS, this will allow us to process it quicker, meaning you can apply for your visa sooner.

Information on college accommodation is sent to you via email from the Accommodation and Allocations Office. Depending on where you are in the process and your application, you may have already received this, but please do not worry if it is not with you yet. This is an automated process and the information will be emailed to you at the appropriate time. The email will contain details of the next steps on how to rank your college preferences, with a link to apply for college membership, and to confirm whether you wish to be considered for college accommodation.
