If you don’t have the qualifications for entry, or need extra help with English language, then we accept a number of courses for entry to our undergraduate degrees.
If you’re a UK student, our Foundation Centre offers the opportunity for eligible students to take a foundation year with progression onto undergraduate study with us. Visit our Foundation Centre pages to find out more about the courses available and whether you might be eligible.
International students who do not meet direct entry requirements have the option of studying an International Foundation Year or a Pre-Masters programme at the Durham University International Study Centre. This programme helps you to improve your academic modules, study skills, and English language skills.
Upon successful completion, you can progress to your chosen degree at Durham University. Find out more about entry requirements for pathway programmes or Contact us if you have any questions.
