Downing Street announced today that the Revd Canon Smitha Prasadam, currently Chaplain of St Albans, Copenhagen, and member of College Council, will take up the role of Bishop of Huddersfield.
The Principal, David Wilkinson, says ‘The College is delighted to learn of the exciting new appointment of Revd Canon Smitha Prasadam as the Bishop of Huddersfield. Smitha is a member of our College Council and just as she brings so many gifts to the life of the College she will bring so many gifts to leadership within the Diocese of Leeds. We assure her of our prayers during this time of transition from Copenhagen to Yorkshire’.
