Durham University have ranked #6 on the BUCS medal table for Birmingham's Commonwealth Games 2022. Out of 32 different universities that had athletes medalled at the games, Durham had alumni and present students representing England, Wales and Cyprus in hockey, fencing, rugby 7s and volleyball.

Durham have had an exceptional year for University Sport, going above and beyond and providing a season to remember. DURFC Men did not disappoint, racking up the most BUCS points this year, closely followed by Men's Cricket. Women's Rugby, Volleyball and Futsal soared to the top of the table this year, contributing over 100 BUCS points each to support Durham's 3rd place reign.
