Durham Biosciences are pleased to announce that we will be working in partnership with 29 businesses and 12 academic research organisations spanning academia and industry on a new Collaborative Training Partnerships (CTP) scheme run by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC).

This scheme will address skills gaps in UK bioscience industry through doctoral training led by businesses. The collaborative partnerships will work across the council’s strategic priorities areas such as Net Zero+, Tackling Infections, Transformative Technologies and more.

The four-year studentships will be delivered over the period 2022-28, we will soon be advertising for studentships to start in October 2022.
