Our postgraduate certificates in Primary and Secondary Education enable graduates to become a qualified teacher in just one year. 

As a Durham graduate you can:

Application process 

PGCE programmes are applied for via the Department for Education (DfE) website. Once we have received your application, and provided you meet our entry requirements, we will invite you to a Selection Interview. You can find further information on the application and interview process including entry requirements here 

Support and advice on the application and interview process is available to all Durham students and alumni, including optional ‘mock’ interviews for those who would find this helpful.
