There are some events that revocably change how we see the past. The Spring Revolution in Myanmar is one such event in Burmese history. In this talk, Jonathan Saha will look at the country’s traditions of resistance in a global context.

Jonathan Saha is Associate Professor of South Asian History at Durham University and an expert on the history of British imperialism in Myanmar (Burma) during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
