Ralph Waggett MA Studentship in History

The Department of History is in the position to offer this studentship due to the generous legacy donation of Ralph Whitell Waggett to the Durham University. History shares this studentship with the Law School and can therefore offer it every other year.

Ralph Waggett intended this studentship in support of aspiring scholars from the North-East/North-Yorkshire, who are under-represented in our student body. Additionally, the Department of History recognises that students with a BAME background are under-represented at Durham. Thus, we particularly encourage those students who identify as BAME and come from those regions to apply for this studentship.
