Online Enrolment

Students must enrol and register for their modules. Detailed information and guidance can be found in the Student Registry pages to guide you through this process.

Please read this information carefully.

Module Registration

The module descriptions in the Preliminary Honours Handbook contain recommendations for preliminary reading.

These are intended to help you tackle unfamiliar subjects and approaches once you have learned your module allocations and during the busy first weeks of term.

Supplementary information dedicated to History Freshers, including a current timetable, is available on Durham University Online (DUO).

Module registration is a three stage process which includes the selection of module(s) and approval of module(s).

The first stage is to read the module descriptions in the Preliminary Honours Handbook.

The second stage is where you confirm your programme of study and choose your optional modules.

The third and final stage of the process is where department(s) approve your choice of modules.

More information on module registration can be found in the Student Registry Modules section.
