International students

The language of mathematics is universal, and so is our community. With around 100 postgraduates and a student body from 35 countries, the Department of Mathematical Sciences offers a truly international environment. Many of our staff have lived, studied and worked internationally, giving them insight into the experiences of international students. We work closely with Colleges and Support Services to ensure all students feel welcomed, supported, and able to thrive in Durham.
