Senior Common Room

Van Mildert College Senior Common Room (SCR) is an association of University members, mentors, fellows and others who support the work of the college. It organises educational and social events, talks and lectures, and fundraising activities.

The SCR is a self-supporting organisation, financially separate from the College, but we work closely with college staff and students, and especially with the postgraduate Middle Common Room, whose members are also members of the SCR.

On payment of the modest annual subscription, members have access to all of the facilities and may invite guests to functions and events. Before the start of each term, members receive an e-bulletin with a calendar of College events and booking forms.
