Oriental Museum welcomes Master Japanese Potter

Master Japanese potter Keigo Kamide is visiting the Oriental Museum on Wednesday 23 November, to give a free talk about his art and the ancient craft of Kutani. His talk will be illustrated with a selected display of his works for visitors to enjoy.

Group study spaces unavailable at the Teaching and Learning Centre

Our group study spaces on the 2nd floor of the Teaching and Learning Centre will be unavailable on Wednesday 2 November, due to the STEM Fair taking place.

Our new library search system is now live!

Our new and improved library search system is now live, replacing the out-dated library catalogue and tools.

Temporary change to online database for museum and archive collections

Due to the work required for the implementation of our new and improved Discover search, our online database for museum and archive collections will be available through an interim database from 1 August.

Introducing ULC’s new library search system

On Monday 1 August, we will be implementing a new library search system to replace the current out-dated library catalogue and Discover tools with a single search facility.

Durham gets top five spot for proportion of research available in open access form

We’re hugely proud that 92.4% of Durham University publications are now available in an open access form, and this puts us in the top five of the open access indicator of the CWTS Leiden Ranking 2022.
