A reflection on, and celebration of, the research legacy of Professor Ash Amin.
Geography Building
Professor Ash Amin was at Durham from 1994 to 2011, including as Head of Department and founding Director of the Institute for Advanced Study. He has just retired, and partly to mark that this event will reflect on the influence of his work, including on many colleagues in the department.
Speakers include Ben Anderson, Harriet Bulkeley, Mike Crang, Jonny Darling, Colin McFarlane, Joe Painter, and Helen Wilson, speaking on issues ranging from culture, space, and politics, to economy, refuge, and the city. Ash will give a response.
