Reading Group: Ian Baucom History 4 Degrees Celsius

The Futures Research Collective invite you to a discussion of Ian Baucom's 2020 book History 4°Celsius: A Search for a Method in the Age of the Anthropocene (eBook via Durham University Library). Discussion will be facilitated by Dr Andrew Baldwin, whose work draws on antiracist scholarship and post-colonial theory to ask how new forms of political community are coming into existence (or not) in relation to looming geohistorical phenomena like climate change and the Anthropocene.
