Laboratories

The Geography laboratories are located in the West building and contain an extensive suite of analytical and geotechnical instruments which are overseen and supported by a team of dedicated technical staff.

Our laboratories are equipped to conduct a wide range of analyses including: wet and dry sediment analyses, high-precision chemical analyses of sediment and water, geotechnical testing in climate controlled environments, biomarker analyses, radionuclide dating, non-destructive sediment core profiling and microfossil analyses.
