Zach Weissand and Joseph Meadows (UG students) will each make a short presentation about the research projects they undertook in the department as part of the Laidlaw Foundation programme.
The Laidlaw Foundation is a charity investing in the education of underprivileged and underrepresented people in order to break the cycle of poverty, reduce inequality and develop a new generation of leaders. Zach Weissand and Joseph Meadows took part in research projects as part of the Undergraduate Leadership and Research Programme, where they each worked with an academic supervisor to pursue an in-depth area of interest with support. Both students will be presenting on their projects and experience as part of the Laidlaw Foundation Programme.
