Durham University is holding Postgraduate Open Days in the afternoon of Wednesday 8th February 2023 as well as online “open days” from 13-19th February for those who cannot visit in person.

Durham University Department of Archaeology

Durham University Department of Archaeology is one of the top archaeology departments in the world.

It has a large energetic and friendly community of postgraduate students at master's and PhD level.  We enjoy close relationships with other departments such as The Geography Department and the Classics and Ancient History Department, and with various centres and institutes of the University, including the Centre for Visual Arts and Culture and the Institute for Medieval and Early Modern Studies among others.
