The majority of first-year undergraduates live in College accommodation.
Our first-year undergraduate accommodation run from the beginning of freshers week to the last day of Easter term (September - June). In the main college building your licence agreement covers vacation periods, so you are welcome to stay over the holidays or leave your belongings in your room.
Overall, we have absolutely loved sharing a room and we now have a bond that we don’t believe could have been achieved any other way. We have both made a friend for life and we know that next year, despite living in different houses, we will find ourselves in the other one’s house because we miss each other’s company too much.
Trevelyan College has excellent facilities. The College is set in extensive grounds that feature various sporting facilities and gardens. During the summer months, a wide variety of College events are hosted outside in these grounds including Trevstock, our annual music festival.
We have plenty of study space for both residents and livers out. We have a spacious library with an extensive collection of books, and IT suite equipped with printing facilities and specialist software, and a newly renovated group study lounge furnished with presentation and video equipment. During the day Trevs Bar provides a more relaxed workspace.
To book a room for sport or other events you can do so via the booking link.
Please note bookings must be made 72 hours in advance.
Arriving at Trevs was a very exciting day. The ‘Freps’ were all super helpful and friendly. My room is big enough with great wardrobe space. The rooms all gather in circles so there’s loads of social space in the landings, unlike a lot of other colleges. Trevs is all one building, so getting to and from your friends’ rooms, the canteen and the library can all be done in slippers.
The club is currently in division one of the College rugby table, the second out of the three divisions. The students are hopeful to push themselves up to the Premiership in the coming years.
Get involved and come along!
A great oppotunity to join a women's rugby team with experinace or to try somthing new. Our Captain had never played rubgy until she came to University, she loves it and now leads the team.
It's a really great place and really friendly people. I would really recommend joining if you want to try something new or if you've played before.
